Refusal to go cold on Bench Rest Range
« on: March 05, 2018, 01:08:03 PM »

Never had this happen before.  A member asked for a cold range and one guy refused to yeild.  He was not wearing a name tag and when I asked him if he was going to go cold he just kept loading his bolt action rifle one round at a time and glared at me like I was nuts.

So next time I should?  What?
Just here for the scenery.

When this happens and they are not wearing a badge per the club rules when on the grounds do not confront him (her). To avoid a possible escalation of the situation just stand back and wait for him to finish. Be respectful even if he isn't.  If possible get a license number and description of the vehicle and email a board member with the information including date and approximate time. We can match his card scan at the front gate with his tag number. The board will handle it from there. That behavior is unacceptable.
